Azalea Care and Education (ACE) believe that no one should ever experience abuse of any kind. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of those in our care and to keep them safe. We are committed to practice in a way that protects them.
The welfare of all our service users is paramount. Everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, race, language, religion or sexual identity, have equal rights to protection.
All staff have an ethical and professional duty of care to act if they witness, or are told, or have any suspicion that may suggest a child is at risk of harm or abuse.

It is the policy of Azalea Care and Education (ACE) to encourage the reporting of all matters of serious concern involving a member of staff, and for persons to feel that they can do so freely and without fear of reprisals or intimidation.
We are committed to maintaining an open culture with the highest standards of honesty and accountability, where employees can report any legitimate concerns in confidence. ACE takes all malpractice very seriously, and our policy sets out the procedure by which employees can report any concerns.

Azalea Care and Education (ACE) is committed to providing a caring, friendly, and safe environment for all service users so they can be supported in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable in our organisation. If bullying does occur, there is an expectation that it will be reported so that it can be dealt with promptly and effectively.
All staff can help to prevent bullying by supporting young people who feel vulnerable, by coaching them in appropriate strategies to avoid bullying, by building their self-esteem and by promoting a climate of trust and mutual respect

Things can go wrong even when services are well run and managed. Consequences can range from minor inconvenience to serious (or long-term) implications for an individual’s life.
At ACE, we firmly believe that if members of staff and individuals (carers, family and representatives) wish to make a complaint, they should find it easy and be supported to do so.
To enhance our performance as an organisation, we would like to emphasise that all staff members at ACE are welcome to communicate and share good practice ideas and opportunities for improvement with us, so that we can continue to champion choice and independence for the people we serve and value our workforce in the right way for years to come.
